“If a photographer cares about the people before the lens and is compassionate, much is given. It is the photographer, not the camera, that is the instrument.” – Helmut Newton

About Angela

Things I love:  Hiking with the Squirrels (our small all girls hiking group).  We do an annual hike-in camping trip that I look forward to every summer!  Biking, travelling, exploring the city.  I love movies, especially at the Cinerama with chocolate popcorn.   I have four grown kiddos who are pretty rad.

My heart is always torn between the mountains and the ocean.  There is something about the sound of the ocean and smell of salt air.  And the mountains always take my breath away!

A little about my work…

My journey in art began with pencil and paper with dreams of becoming a Disney cartoonist. The same principles and rules of art (and the fun of breaking the rules) on paper transferred easily to the camera.

I enjoy authentic emotion and natural reactions.  I shoot in a manner to tell a story, while incorporating a sprinkling of posed shots.  Colorfully realistic & crisp!

Meet Makayla

She is my outstandingly sweet and talented second shooter.  Mik and I have been shooting together for about 5 years now and have a natural groove and flow for working weddings together.  Without speaking, we know exactly where to be to compliment the other's perspective.  Makayla also shoots families and seniors, so we almost always have availability between the two of us!  I love this gal - you will too!

Coming soon:  a sampling portfolio of her work!
